Let the fun begin!! The Beginners and Intermediate Course introduces you to the basic techniques of playing a djembe (African hand drum) and the fundamentals of drumming.
Over the 8 week course you will learn to play many basic and upbeat rhythms taught in a fun and easy way. No experience is necessary to attend this course and this is a great opportunity to embark on a new journey together with other members of your community. Drums are supplied each evening but if you have your own djembe drum you can bring it along.
At the end of the Course you have the opportunity to join us in the Drumbala Student Performance Day where families and friends come together for a fun filled afternoon with rhythm.
Bookings are essential if you wish to participate in this course.
